I spent this weekend diving deep into the foundations of excellence at the UDC Board of Trustees Retreat. We were led by the brilliant Tom Hyatt, AGB General Counsel and Senior Consultant, focusing on the critical pillars of governance: fiduciary duty, core board responsibilities, and strategic leadership.

Governance isn’t just a "box to check." It’s the engine that ensures an organization can fulfill its mission with transparency and impact.
