- Be enrolled at an accredited college, university, or trade/technical school in the fall of 2026

- Have at least a 2.0 GPA or a 225 GED score

If you are a Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) participant who is elderly, disabled, or have not been able to secure a unit within 60 days of receiving your voucher, you can request a housing locator to help with your housing search.

SCAM ALERT: The DC Housing Authority is warning District residents about social media accounts that are claiming to administer DCHA voucher programs in exchange for a fee. DCHA does not charge fees to receive a housing voucher or be pulled from a waitlist.
