The Coalition is announcing a call for applications to receive funds from a grant program, for U.S.- or Puerto Rico-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, to support mpox awareness and education for LGBTQ individuals and for the community networks where mpox risk exists.

The ongoing incidence of mpox cases in the United States—particularly in vulnerable communities such as those with advanced HIV, intersecting health vulnerabilities, the LGBTQ population, and communities of color—highlights the continued need for focused health interventions. To address this need, the Coalition is launching a grant program to support the dissemination of essential mpox awareness and education materials.

This program seeks to enhance health equity by providing critical information, improving public health preparedness, and fostering community-based partnerships. With your participation in this collaborative effort, we will provide materials that focus on education and access to health services, ultimately reducing health disparities and improving outcomes for marginalized communities.
