🚫 Myth! Dr. Ruff sets the record straight - ni****ne in any form (ci******es, vapes, or gum) can seriously affect your blood flow and your ability to heal.

And it’s not just ni****ne, smoking or va**ng ma*****na can also impact oxygen delivery and lung function, both of which are crucial for recovery.

That’s why we ask patients to stop 2–4 weeks before surgery and for at least 4 weeks after. Proper healing starts with healthy circulation and oxygen flow.
