EVENT SPOTLIGHT - STAR WARS SHATTERPOINT AT NOVA OPEN 2025!

NOVA Open was proud to host Star Wars Shatterpoint as one of it's premiere events this year. With over 40 players, this was the largest Shatterpoint tournament in North America!

Event Spotlight: Trench Crusade at NOVA Open 2025

We were thrilled to welcome Trench Crusade back for its second year at NOVA Open! Trench Crusade is a gritty alternate WWI skirmish game pitting the forces of heaven and hell against each other with the fate of the world in the balance.

After debuting last year as a pre-Kickstarter demo in our Demo Hall, the team returned in 2025 with a full slate: the first-ever Trench Crusade narrative event at a convention, nonstop demos, a buzzing booth, and an exclusive reveal with the game’s designer and founder, Tuomas Pirinen. At their booth, attendees had the rare chance to shake hands with the architects of Trench Crusade: along with Tuomas, Mike Franchina, the mastermind of its grim aesthetic, and James Sherriff, the sculptor who transformed nightmare into miniature reality. Huge thanks to everyone who dove into the trenches with us—we can’t wait for an even bigger presence at NOVA Open 2026.
