Active Minds is now accepting applications for our Spring 2026 internship! 🎉

We’re looking for current college students and recent graduates who are passionate about changing the culture around mental health. Interns will gain valuable, hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector and contribute to meaningful, mission-driven work that impacts students nationwide.

📌 Internships are remote, but applicants must reside in the U.S.

According to NAMI, only 36% of Hispanic/Latine adults with mental health conditions receive treatment each year, compared to over 52% of non-Hispanic white adults.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, let's not only celebrate the past, but work toward a future where these communities have full access to culturally informed mental health resources. 💙

Mental health support should be accessible to everyone, in every language, and rooted in cultural understanding.

We’re looking for high schoolers who are passionate about mental health. 💫
The High School Advisory Board is a paid leadership program providing students with the opportunity to influence and contribute to Active Minds directly. You will receive leadership and mental health advocacy training, help build resources and workshops to support high school students, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth, provide feedback on mental health advocacy opportunities, and more! 🙌

Eligibility Requirements:
➡️Be a current high school student in grades 9-12.
➡️Have a strong interest in mental health advocacy.
➡️Have internet access for virtual meetings and assignments.
➡️Obtain parental or guardian consent to participate.
➡️Submit a school reference.
