African American women are disproportionately diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. researchers recently identified a dormant tumor suppressing protein that could be key in fighting if they can get it to reactivate.

Meet Pam, BCW's Lead Mammography Technologist! Pam has 18 years of imaging experience & received her Associates Degree in radiology from UDC. She's been Imaging Center Team Lead at radiology facilities in MD. Pam specializes in 3D imaging. She's a DC native, living in Ward 7.
