I want to say something real. As a mom of two and a pediatric dentist, I see you. I see the mental load you're carrying. The 2 a.m. feedings. The "did I do enough today?" questions you ask yourself when no one's watching. The way you show up even when you're running on empty.

Motherhood changed how I practice dentistry. Before kids, I understood the clinical side. After kids, I understood the *exhaustion* side — what it actually feels like to drag a tired toddler to an appointment, to worry your baby isn't latching right, to wonder if their mouth breathing means something more.

A mom came in last week between her kids' appointments. No emergency, nothing to fix.

When I asked what brought her in, she said she just came to hang out. "It's an expensive hangout," I told her. She laughed and settled in.

We're here for your children – but we're also here for you. We're parents too, and we know how much it helps to have somewhere you feel seen and supported.

Before she left, I asked her: "Where's your hour today?" We talked through it. Because when you have a lot to carry, it's important you find time for yourself.
