"I knew I was healing when I embraced REST as a choice not as a last resort." - Yamine Cheyenne⠀
⠀
Yogic relaxation is time for your physical and energetic body to integrate the benefits of your practice. It is the time when your body heals and re-energizes your system. Reminder: is a productive activity! ⠀
⠀
Nourish yourself & re-learn how to let go. Stay for 1-2 min, or if you can 15-30 min. It is a natural rhythm of life to rest. ⠀
⠀
Progressively let go of tension, so your body & mind can re-charge and restore, the wounds of in the body, brain and psyche. Use all the support you can find around the house: chair, blankets, pillows, books, blocks, couch, eye bag, towels, socks, etc.⠀

⠀
Our pelvis houses many experiences. It is a center of & ! Place & . It can store wounds, experiences & memories!⠀
⠀
According to yogic tradition, it is a place of our relationships to the world, to our . Our pelvis carries energy and intelligence. Any “invasion” can cause tremendous distress and ! No wonder our pelvis can remember the and hold onto the memories of trauma through tension, spasm, dysfunction, prolapse, and more. Muscles around the pelvis and legs can be tight, imbalanced, or unstable due to excess mobility. The key to supporting the lower body is to cultivate awareness, movement & patience. ⠀

🌿 Day 3 of tool: Morning meditation.

The goal of meditation is NOT to control your thoughts. The goal is to STOP letting thoughts control YOU!

reduces stress, promotes emotional health, controls anxiety, and enhances self-awareness.

Where to begin?
1. Start small - 5 to 10 minutes a day.
2. Be real and ask yourself what type of practice speaks to you?
3. Have a special place with a comfortable pillow or place you like.
4. Set a practice time with a clock or a timer.
5. Reflect & adjust.

Your coffee or tea can also be your morning meditation, where you can rest in : Start with one sip. Feel the warmth. Get your mug under your nose and inhale deeply. Feel the aroma! Breathe! Let go of your thoughts and enjoy your moment. Feel your feet, your hand, and your whole body in this moment.

Centered. Grounded. Calm.
