Healing is more than a personal journey—it’s generational. 🫂💜✨

When mothers are supported, held, and truly cared for, it has a ripple effect, and children grow up with stronger emotional foundations, healthier relationships, and deeper confidence.

Take care of yourself. You got this! 🫵🏾✨

Polycystic o***y syndrome, what was once widely known as PCOS is now being referred to as PMOS, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome — a name that more accurately reflects the condition’s impact on hormonal health, metabolism, and overall well-being.

Creative Cocktail was the assignment and the Village stepped out for our inaugural Soirée ✨

The room was filled with beautiful energy, music, and so many moments that reminded us what community really feels like.

We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up and poured into this space—our incredible board of directors, sponsors, vendors, and our growing community. Because of you, we’re continuing to fuel the next chapter of care for Black mothers, babies, and families.

We pour so much into our children, our families, our work, and everyone around us.

But who is checking on you?

This Maternal Mental Health Month, let this be your reminder: your well-being is not optional. You cannot keep pouring from an empty cup.

So yes, mama, please:
✨ Take the walk
🧠 Schedule the therapy session
💧 Drink the water
📱 Put in the appointment
🤍 Ask for help
😴 Rest without guilt
👭 Lean on your village
🌿 Make space for your healing

Because how is our family supposed to be well if we are constantly running on empty?

At Mamatoto Village, we believe maternal mental health is vital!

Your mental wellbeing matters.

Not just for what you do for everyone else, but because you are worthy of care, too.

Did you know it’s National Infertility Awareness Week? 📣

Infertility impacts millions of women and families, but access to care is not created equal. Black women are more likely to experience fertility challenges, yet less likely to receive the care and support they deserve.

From cost barriers to stigma, mistrust, and limited access, the gaps are real. But so are the resources, advocates, and communities working to change that story.

Maternal health is everyone’s business. As we reframe infertility as a critical public health and reproductive justice issue, we must show up for our village at every stage—before pregnancy, during, after, and everywhere in between.🧡

➡️ Swipe to learn more and explore resources that can support you or someone you love on their journey.

Still riding the high from kicking off Black Maternal Health Week with our inaugural 5K Walk! The energy was incredible—mothers, fathers, partners, grandmothers, aunties, and community members all came together and showed up in a powerful way.

Maternal health is everybody’s business, and this past week proved just how strong we are when we stand together. Let’s keep this momentum going beyond Black Maternal Health Week—our work doesn’t stop here. 💜✨
