The hope & intent of this page is to bring awareness of analog drugs to the forefront, most especially MXE. MXE ultimately took my son's life on 8/08/14, 13 days before his 21st birthday. We know Zach had his share of struggles in life BUT he was soooo much more than the sum of his past mistakes. He LOVED his family & his friends, he loved people in general. He loved playing soccer & rollerblading
, he was a huge Harry Potter fan, extremely intelligent, & he was a Christian that loved God and was always open to learning more about other people's beliefs & religions. He had a huge heart & would give a stranger the shirt off his back. People he knew, went to school with, maybe at one point called them friends not only sold him the MXE, they convinced him that it was harmless b/c it is theoretically "legal" in the United States. Even though we have a Good Sam Law in NC, these "friends" watched him die & never called 911 or anyone for help. They stole what they wanted from him, including a ring his dad gave him that meant the world to Zach & then they discarded him & his things like he was trash. But he wasn't~ he was SO IMPORTANT to so many people. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, & friend with a promising future. His death has effected so many people from all over the country. PLEASE join our fight to make sure other families are spared this horrific pain. These "friends" of Zach's are still walking the street, pushing their MXE on other kids, age doesn't matter. It could be a 12 yr old, it could be YOUR child next. They have zero remorse & have no intention of stopping. We intend to SHOUT from the rooftops that the distribution of MXE is not ok, support the laws & assist the lawmakers in passing this in all 50 states. We WILL make a difference & STOP these "friends" from destroying just one other family. PLEASE help us take the first steps & don't let our Zach's death be in vain.
