🦻♻️ Hearing Aid Recycling Drive:

Current PRC patient and River School alum, Cooper, initiated a hearing aid recycling program for his thoughtful Eagle Scout project, and we are proud to work with him on this worthy cause! Please consider donating any hearing aids that are no longer needed (any brand, model, or age) to help support Cooper and Scout Troop 1916. 🦻

As you may know, hearing aids can be very expensive. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) found three-fourths of Americans with functional hearing loss cannot afford devices. In partnership with Lions Clubs International, the donated equipment will be cleaned, restored/refurbished, and then provided to those in need. Donation receipts will be provided upon request.

Donation box is located in the Audiology Suite at Potomac River Clinic.

Chattering Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children with hearing loss to reach their potential through listening and spoken language. Our multidisciplinary team includes audiologists, speech pathologists, auditory verbal therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and educators. We are passionate about coaching and guiding families to support auditory skill development, facilitate spoken language, create supportive listening environments, and integrate listening and language into the routines of family life.
