Thank you to Dr. Jon Umlauf for teaching our second year students about musculoskeletal ultrasonography. Our students got to learn and directly practice these diagnostic imaging skills!

Adaptive Mobility Day! Our second year students were able to learn about different wheelchairs and adaptive mobility equipment with a hands on experience, as well as learn the essentials of wheelchair prescription.

Our GW DPT students participated in PT Day of Service by giving back to the DC community! They made hygiene kits and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for those in need, as well as cards for children in the hospital. 💙

Last week, our second year students had the opportunity to lead a Falls Prevention Awareness Event for members of the community. With stations focused on diagnosis, strengthening, and education, this event reinforced the principles taught throughout the curriculum about fall risks.
