TFAH's Public Health Infrastructure Report warns that proposed federal budget cuts could slash CDC funding by over 50% and eliminate more than 100 vital health programs including many supporting mental health and substance use prevention, recovery, and emergency response.

This means:
🔹Fewer resources for mental health services in communities.
🔹Layoffs and hiring freezes for public health and mental health workers.
🔹Reduced preparedness for future health crises.
