The staff at Swift Audiology loves cheering for the black and gold! As we prepare for the Steelers' home opener on September 14th, we want to remind you: while you’re packing your terrible towels, banners, sunscreen, and shades, don’t forget to include your hearing protection!

Acrisure Stadium, known as one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL, averages around 90 decibels—equivalent to the sound of a freight train passing by—and can sometimes reach even higher levels. For instance, when the defense takes the field, the noise can soar to 110 decibels!

So remember, during intense moments, safeguarding your ears is just as vital as supporting our team. Let’s enjoy the game safely and cheer on the black and gold with pride!

Do not act your age! What was your best year so far? Pic­ture your­self at that age and be it.
Be pos­i­tive in your con­ver­sa­tions and your actions every day.
Drop the neg­a­tive friends who com­plain all the time and con­stantly talk about how awful every­thing is
Walk like a vibrant, healthy per­son.
Stand up straight! (Tip: Your waist­line will look trim­mer if you fol­low this advice.)
How’s your smile? Peo­ple who smile more often are hap­pier.
Lonely? Pick up the phone - Vol­un­teer your time, take a class, invite some­one to meet for lunch or cof­fee.
Start walk­ing not only for your health, but also to see your neighbors. Have a dog? You’ll be amazed at how the dog can be a con­ver­sa­tion starter.
Make this month the time to set up your annual phys­i­cal and other health screen­ings-INCLUDING your HEARING TEST!
