Marijo is a consultant and a keynote speaker. In her words "I found that in too many of my verbal interactions, I was not hearing with accuracy what others were saying. I found myself withdrawing from conversations in restaurants and at networking events. I was doing a lot of smiling and nodding in place of conversing. I also found myself leaning toward Zoom virtual calls where I could better control the audio and the environment." Now, with her hearing aids - "I look forward to scheduling events in public settings again. I am very much more eager and energized about interacting with others in all settings. People notice my energy and positivity - not my hearing disability". We love stories like Marijo's. Helping people at home and in the workplace is what we do at Swift Audiology. Thank you Marijo for sharing your story with us and allowing us to share it with others.

It's world emoji day! Did you know there is an emoji now for all you hearing aid wearers out there? 🦻 Exciting, right? But what does it mean? I guess if you are replying to a text from us at Swift Audiology you could utilize it by texting, "Hi, it's been 3 months, time to get a 🦻 cleaning". Or to your family "I just picked up my shiny new 🦻 " We've even had a few calls that could have been texts that read...."🦻🐶😬". Guess what that one means? You've guessed it "My dog bit my hearing aid"!
