Get the MOST out of your massage by setting clear boundaries. You and your therapist will be able to work efficiently when the lines of communication are open.

According to the Re-opening plan provided by our Governor, it appears that Massage Therapists will be allowed to reopen as part of Phase 2, tentatively set for June 20. No specific guidelines have been set forth yet. In order to allow adequate time to self-certify and make sure that I have the right PPE, I am currently looking at reopening July 6th. I will update you when I know more.

Stellaria media, aka chickw**d is growing and blooming vigorously around the edges of the flowerbeds. Another edible w**d suitable for Spring salads, Chickw**d is notable for it's vitamin C and iron content. A strong tea added to the bath can sooth rheumatic conditions and itchy skin. A chickw**d salve or lotion will soon be making its way onto my shelves.

Wash your hands...and moisturize! Dry skin has micro cracks that can harbor germs...even allow access to the tissues below. Commercial products often have ingredients that work counter to the product's purpose and are actually drying. My all natural products have all of the moisturizing and none of the drying. Curb-side pick-up is available on Thursdays otherwise I'll ship. Pop into my online shop today!

Discovered a patch of Ground Ivy, Glechoma hederacea, blooming in the backyard. The fresh leaves and flowers are edible and can be added to salads, soups, stews or broth. A member of the mint family, it has a minty/sage like flavor. It is considered to be antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic and an expectorant. It has traditionally been used to relieve congestion and inflammation of the mucus membranes associated with colds, 'flu and sinusitis. A vigorous invasive, I hope the frequent harvesting I have in mind for it keeps it in check!
