Read books, talk to pregnant women and new moms, talk to the elder women as well. Learn about natural remedies and natural childbirth. Hire a doula, use a midwife.

We should be teaching the younger girls about their body, the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, puberty, menopause, etc. Girls shouldn't have to learn on their own as they go. A lot can be prevented if taught early how to take care of their body, inside and out.

Books, videos, word of mouth, first hand experiences such as witnessing the birth of a baby and seeing women breastfeed around them.

These things are not too advanced or mature to present to girls who are curious and need to know.
