Center for School, Health and Education The Center for School, Health and Education (CSHE) at the American Public Health Association promotes graduation as a public health priority.

CSHE promotes school-based health centers given their success at developing resilience in youth and contributing to academic outcomes. They are uniquely positioned to implement school-wide public health strategies that increase access to physical and mental health care, address the social barriers to health and educational success, create a learning-friendly climate, and promote lifelong healthy behavior. Through partnerships, policies and advocacy, CSHE links the educational and public health communities to ensure that all students—particularly those facing social inequities—are supported to graduate.
