Bruno was an honorary member of our Oakridge family. He brought many smiles to our residents and employees with each visit. We were sorry to hear Bruno crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. RIP, sweet Bruno!

Our Assisted Living residents' summer picnic moved inside because of a heat advisory. They enjoyed fried chicken, corn on the cob, cole slaw, green beans with potatoes, sliced tomatoes, and deviled eggs. Watermelon and cantaloupe with a cookie were for dessert. Everyone enjoyed good food and good conversation with friends.

July was a scorcher, so we served tenderloins from the Caddy Shack in Petersburg. Dessert was angel food cake with fresh ripe strawberries to try to beat the heat.

We'd like to thank Chief Deputy, Steve Sturgis, for joining us at our monthly Senior Executive Committee meeting in July.
Our Senior Executive meeting is open to any local senior in the community. Each month we have a guest speaker and lunch is provided.
Our next meeting is set for Tuesday, August 12th at 2p with a representative of Heartland Cardiology joining us for the presentation.
