For more than 30 years, Donna has been weaving warmth, joy, and artistry into every stitch she makes. What began as a simple lesson from her sister-in-law, who patiently taught her how to crochet, has grown into a lifelong passion and a beautiful form of self-expression. With nothing more than a hook and a skein of yarn, Donna transforms simple strands into works of heart.
Through her volunteer work with “Yarn Art in the Park” at Eastside Park, Donna’s handcrafted creations wrap trees and spaces in vibrant color, turning an ordinary park stroll into a gallery of softness and surprise, where everyone feels the warmth that only handmade artistry can bring.
For Donna, crocheting is more than a hobby…it’s storytelling. Each piece is a reminder that people, much like her yarn, are strongest when woven together.
