DAY 6
GAIA, MOTHER OF ALL LIFE

The Final Day of the Hunt

Today, on the final day of this season’s bear hunt,
we turn to Gaia
the Great Mother,
the living Earth,
the ancient Titan who holds all beings in her body.

Gaia feels every wound.
Every cry.
Every life taken in fear, ignorance, or ego.

When the bears are harmed,
it is not only their bodies that suffer
the land remembers.
The forests remember.
The Earth remembers.

Today, we ask Gaia to hold the bears in safety
and to begin the slow work of healing what cruelty leaves behind.

WHY GAIA

Gaia is not distant.
She is beneath our feet, in our bones, in our breath.

She represents: ✨ Protection through presence
✨ The sanctity of all life
✨ The grief of the Earth. and her ability to heal
✨ The reminder that violence echoes long after the sound fades

Calling on Gaia is not an act of defiance.
It is an act of mourning and reverence.

RITUAL OF WITNESS & HEALING (DAY 6)

This ritual is gentle. It asks nothing but sincerity.

1. Sit or stand with your feet on the ground
If possible, touch the Earth soil, stone, wood, floor.

2. Place both hands over your heart
Take a slow breath in…
and a long breath out.

3. Whisper or think:
“Gaia, Mother of All, hold them now.”

4. Visualize
The bears wrapped in deep green and brown light
the color of forest, soil, and safety.
See Gaia’s presence beneath them, steady and vast.

5. Offer this truth (out loud or silently):
“What is harmed is seen.
What is lost is mourned.
What is broken will be healed.”

6. Close by touching the Earth again
and saying:
“May the land remember peace.”

PRAYER TO GAIA

Gaia, Great Mother,
Bearer of forests and bones,
Keeper of all who walk upon you,

Hold the bears close today.
Shelter them beneath your skin.
Guide them away from pain,
and receive those who are lost back into your care.

Heal the land where fear has ruled.
Soothe the places marked by suffering.
Teach humanity remembrance
that pleasure born of cruelty leaves scars on the Earth itself.

May compassion take root again.
May reverence return.
May the gentle ones never be forgotten.

Gaia, hold them.
Gaia, heal us.
Gaia, remember.

DAY 5
VENUS & THE BEAR

Harmony • Protection • Peace

Today, on Day 5 of the bear hunt,
we call upon the energy of Venus
the planet of love, harmony, compassion, and peaceful coexistence.

Venus reminds us that life does not need to be ruled by fear or domination.
She teaches us that balance is restored through understanding, care, and reverence for life.

The bear, often misunderstood, carries a similar medicine:
strength without cruelty,
power without aggression,
presence without domination.

Today, we invite Venus to soften the collective heart
and surround the bears with peace.

WHY VENUS FOR THE BEARS?

Venus governs:
✨ Love over fear
✨ Harmony between opposites
✨ Protection through compassion
✨ The restoration of balance
✨ The softening of hardened hearts

Working with Venus does not ask for battle
it asks for remembrance.

VENUS PEACE RITUAL FOR THE BEARS

(Simple & accessible for everyone)

1. Light a candle
Pink, white, green, or copper if you have it
but any candle is perfect.

2. Place one hand on your heart
and one on your belly.
Take a slow, gentle breath.

3. Whisper or think:
“Venus, bring harmony where fear has taken hold.”

4. Visualize
A soft rose-gold light spreading through the forests.
See a bear walking calmly, unseen, protected, undisturbed.

5. Offer this blessing:
“May love guide every step.
May peace replace fear.
May the gentle ones be protected.”

6. Close by saying:
“Harmony is restored.”

Let the candle burn for a few moments if you can.

PRAYER TO VENUS FOR THE BEARS

Beloved Venus,
Bringer of peace and harmony,
Softener of hardened hearts,

Wrap the bears in your gentle light.
Let fear dissolve where they walk.
Guide them unseen, unharmed, and protected.

Restore balance between humans and the wild.
Teach us coexistence over control.
Love over fear.
Peace over violence.

May harmony return to the land.
May the gentle ones be spared.
May compassion lead the way.

ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI, PROTECTOR OF THE ANIMALS

Today, on Day 4 of the bear hunt,
we call upon St. Francis of Assisi,
the gentle guardian of all creatures,
the saint who spoke to animals
as brothers and sisters of the earth.

If this message finds you,
you have been chosen to hold a blessing of peace today
not just for the bears,
but for all beings who suffer without a voice.

St. Francis walked with wolves, birds, deer, and creatures who feared others.
But with him, they felt safe.
With him, they were understood.

Today, we ask him to walk beside the bears.

St. Francis, gentle father of the wild,
we ask for your protection today.

Walk beside the bears who move quietly through the forests.
Guide them away from danger,
hide them from violence,

Artio is the ancient Celtic goddess of wildlife, transformation, and bears.
Her name comes from the Gaulish word “artos” meaning bear
she is not just associated with bears… she is the embodiment of their spirit.

Artio is:

✨ The protector of bears and all gentle forest creatures
✨ A guardian of transitions, seasons, and cycles
✨ A healer of the land
✨ A mother-spirit of strength and quiet power
✨ A guide for those who carry deep empathy for animals

She comes to people whose hearts ache for the voiceless.
She comes when compassion rises.
She comes when the earth needs her guardians to awaken.

Let us hold the bears in our prayers for protection on Day 2 of the hunt.

If you are seeing this post, it isn’t by accident.
There are no coincidences.
You are being touched by the medicine of the Bear.

The Bear has come to sit beside you,
to bring strength, grounding, intuition, and protection.

Let’s take a look at the medicine the Bear offers,
and how it may be moving through your life today.

Take a moment…

Place your right hand gently over your heart
and your left hand over your belly.

Take a long, slow breath in…
hold it softly for a moment…

And as you exhale,
let your awareness sink into your body.

Feel yourself arriving fully in this moment
heart, breath, and spirit aligned.

Hold still and feel.

Where in your body are you sensing the Bear’s energy?
Your heart?
Your belly?
Your spine?
Your hands?

Wherever you feel it
that is where the Bear is working with you.

Bear Blessing — Day 2: The Medicine of the Bear

When a bear appears in your life
whether in dreams, in the forest,
or in the quiet corners of your awareness
it is never by accident.

The bear is one of the oldest symbols of spiritual strength.
It walks between worlds as both guardian and healer.
To encounter a bear is to receive a message
from the deep, ancient parts of the earth.

Bear medicine teaches us:

🌿 Strength in stillness
Bears remind us that real power is not loud.
It is quiet, grounded, unwavering.

🌿 The courage to stand alone
Bear energy supports independence, inner authority,
and trusting your own instincts.

🌿 Protection of what is sacred
Bears symbolize guardianship
of family, land, spirit, and truth.

🌿 Healing and introspection
Just as bears retreat into winter dens,
we are called to turn inward,
to reflect, restore, and reconnect
with our own inner knowing.

🌿 Mother energy & compassion
Despite their size, bears are gentle,
loving protectors of their young
symbols of unconditional care.

So today, as the second day of the hunt continues,
I honor the spirit of the bear
the wisdom it carries,
the teachings it offers,
and the quiet message it brings to those who listen:

Walk gently.
Stand strong.
Protect what is sacred.
Live in peace when peace is possible.

May the medicine of the bear reach every heart today.
May the wild ones be honored, not feared.
May their spirit guide us toward deeper compassion.

✨🌙 Afternoon Delight — A Sip of Calm & Alchemy 🌙✨
This afternoon I felt called to create a little kitchen-alchemy…
a calming tonic meant only for relaxation, beauty, and ritual.
No selling — just sharing the magic. 💛

Here’s the blend I crafted (for personal use only):

🌿 Herbal Mix
• 1/8 tsp kava
• 1/8 tsp ashwagandha
• 1/8 tsp lemon balm extract
• 1/8 tsp L-theanine

Warm water or warm coconut-milk blend.
Whisk… breathe… soften.

Then I stirred in:
🍋 1 tablespoon (…maybe a little more) fresh lemon juice
🍯 A touch of raw honey
✨ And raw sugar around the rim — because why shouldn’t relaxation feel luxurious?

And of course… a ritual:

“As I blend, I soften.
As I sip, I settle.
As I rest, I rise.”

Within minutes, the energy shifts.
The edges smooth.
The spirit softens.

I’m calling it Afternoon Delight —
a simple little spell in a glass.
Just for fun, for calm, and for anyone who loves the beauty of herbal ritual. 🌙💫

In New Jersey they are starting there second Bear Hunt December 8th through the 13th.

May all who cross paths with the black bear remember its true nature:
A quiet traveler of the forest,
A shy observer of our world,
A creature who avoids conflict,
And who wishes only to live.

In New Jersey, 350 bears have lost their lives this year
and not a single fatal bear attack has occurred.

If they were the monsters some paint them to be,
wouldn’t our hospitals be full?
Wouldn’t our news be flooded?

Instead, those of us who live with them know:
They walk by silently.
They turn away from confrontation.
They choose peace every single time.

May we learn to see clearly.
May fear dissolve.
May compassion rise.
May the gentle ones be protected.
