‼️Inclusivity in good for business ‼️

According to a Forbes article, hiring people with disabilities has overwhelmingly positive impacts on businesses.

Businesses that employ people with disabilities have noted 1.6 times more revenue, 2 times more economic profit, 2.6 times more net income, and 25% greater productivity. Companies with diverse and inclusive workplaces also benefit from higher employee retention rates, stronger company morale, and creative innovation.

Federal incentives like the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), the Disabled Access Credit, and the Architectural Barrier Removal Tax Deduction are in place to encourage businesses to hire people with disabilities.

In recognition of National Disabilities Employment Awareness Month, UniqueSource Products & Services celebrates Nancy Mosley

Nancy is the Day Porter at District 6 for County Association for the Blind — and she is known for her high-quality work, great attitude, and constant smile.

She keeps the building spotless throughout the day and goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks great. Her Facility Manager, Pat, says Nancy often takes on extra tasks just because she cares about the space and the people in it.

Nancy joined the team after spotting an opening near King of Prussia and hasn’t looked back. “The people are great! They make me laugh. I have fun when I am here,” she says.

October 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). This annually recognized month celebrates the positive impact that people with disabilities impart on the American workforce. Proudly serving the disability community for over 60 years, Abilities Solutions provides employment opportunities to those we serve through our workforce development initiatives.

We are delighted to announce that the ACCSES 2026 Winter Summit will be held in Arlington, Virginia, just minutes from downtown D.C. and the Capitol! Yes, that is right. For the first time ever, we are staying close to home this winter so that we can take full advantage of the opportunity to reach out to leaders in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government as well as other local dignitaries.
