Through a heightened state of relaxation, the brain is able to send and receive signals that are usually disrupted by stress and overstimulation from everyday living. Safe for children and adults, a Blu Room session consists of lying fully clothed on a couch surrounded by UVB lights for 20 minutes. The Blu Room has been said by its users to help decrease pain, offer a sense of calm and mental peace (quiet the constant chatter), and promote a faster healing process. In addition to a vitamin D boost, a session is thought to trigger the release of endorphins reducing the effects of stress, boosting the immune system and promoting a general sense of well being. Authenticity is my North Star.
It is what guides me in daily life. I continue to allow my most authentic self to be expressed—some days more fully than others. I still carry conditioning and blind spots, but I keep seeing and shifting them as my awareness expands.
Because I can only offer who and what I am, it will come as no surprise that when I am with you—whether in massage, the Blu Room, or Life Doula Partnering—I am always pointing you back toward your own authenticity.
Ask yourself:
Am I being REAL with myself?
Am I being REAL with others?
Am I living a lie?
What percentage of my daily life is just a role I put on for others?
No wonder so many people wake up exhausted. Another day where their true self is hushed—no voice, not seen, not expressed. Walking through life without clarity, passion, or connection.
So we distract ourselves: buy something, scroll, meet for drinks, take the edge off with cannabis… anything to touch that missing feeling of “me.”
All along, your true self has been waiting. Waiting for permission to live a single day in its own shoes.
And when that authentic self is given a chance—when it is allowed to lead—you don’t just survive the day. You feel freedom, empowerment, joy, security, excitement, love, energy, clarity. These are the natural byproducts of living authentically.

Saturday Story Series ✨🦎

This week, I pulled the Chameleon Spirit card after a personal blu room session. This was a gentle nudge to blend into the quiet, to choose activities that ground me, and to avoid the places/people/things that can add unwanted stress.

It reminded me that self-care isn’t always about adding more. Sometimes it’s about subtracting.
Subtracting noise.
Subtracting pressure.
Even subtracting time online. There I said it.

I have decided to take a focus on the "no scroll september" vibe. If I'm not intentionally looking for something, wanting to check in on a friend, or researching for something beneficial, then I'm "stopping the scroll".

The message was simple: step back, take a timeout, and let stillness be the medicine.

I don’t know about you, but I often need the reminder that it’s okay to hit pause. That peace doesn’t come from keeping up with every scroll or every voice, it comes from listening inward.

So today, I’m honoring the gift of neutrality, grounding, and space.
The Blu Room helps me, but so does simply choosing a walk, a breath, a quiet moment with no agenda, no scroll.

A lot of people made the whole month a no scroll month. Sort of a detox // challenge. I'm late to the game, but I do think pulling this card was some kind of a sign, a reminder, to scroll less. Scroll Less = Less Stress
