Through a heightened state of relaxation, the brain is able to send and receive signals that are usually disrupted by stress and overstimulation from everyday living. Safe for children and adults, a Blu Room session consists of lying fully clothed on a couch surrounded by UVB lights for 20 minutes. The Blu Room has been said by its users to help decrease pain, offer a sense of calm and mental peace (quiet the constant chatter), and promote a faster healing process. In addition to a vitamin D boost, a session is thought to trigger the release of endorphins reducing the effects of stress, boosting the immune system and promoting a general sense of well being. To inspire you to trust in your own body's innate wisdom in healing. We are here to encourage you to be open to all possibilities. When you believe...it becomes possible. What you imagine...will manifest in your life. Thoughts and words have real power. Your body is listening to every thing you think and say. What I care about… as your Massage Therapist. matters

Have you ever caught yourself in a negative conversation with yourself?

Not just a passing thought—but a full-blown internal dialogue that sounds something like:

“I’m so dumb. I can’t believe I did that.”
“I could never pull something like that off.”
“What if my client cancels their contract?”

Yep. Those conversations.

Here’s the part that might surprise you:
I’ve had these exact conversations with world-class athletes—people who’ve already accomplished more than most ever will—still questioning whether they’re “good enough” for the next level.

I’ve heard it from incredibly talented singer-songwriters too. Artists so gifted it almost hurts to watch them hold back. I’ve always told them, if I could sing half as well as you, I’d be singing so loud the entire world would hear me. 😊
(Still true. Still not happening.)

The point is this:
Negative, fear-based, scarcity-driven self-talk shows up for everyone.
Not because you’re broken. Not because you’re failing. But because you’re human.

And since we already know that voice will pop up again—whether we invite it or not—wouldn’t it make sense to have a game plan ready before it does?

This really hit home for me recently.

My phone rang. Random moment. Out of all the infinite possibilities my brain could’ve chosen from, my internal dialogue jumped straight to:
“What if that’s my client calling to cancel?”

Twenty-plus year client. No issues. No red flags. No problems.
And yet… there it was.
Human brain doing human brain things. Wowser.

But this time, I caught it.

And I immediately reframed the conversation:
My client values our work. They appreciate what we do. They see the results. They trust us. They want a longer relationship. They want us to do more, not less.

Same situation.
Completely different energy. Completely different outcome.

That moment is when this message was born.

Because here’s the truth:
Negative self-talk will show up again. Fear will knock. Scarcity will try to take the mic.
So we might as well be prepared.

Think of it as stacking the deck in your favor.

Your thoughts and your words—yes, even the quiet ones—carry energy. And that energy shapes outcomes. When you shift the internal conversation, you shift the direction you’re heading.

So before the next wave of negative self-talk arrives, prepare for it.

You already know what that conversation sounds like.
Now decide what it responds with.

Create a reframing that works for you.
Move from fear to power.
From scarcity to abundance.

And give yourself permission—finally—to acknowledge your strengths, your gifts, and your capacity for more.

It’s a far better conversation to have.
Especially when you’re having it with yourself.

Rather than teaching or guiding, the day is held as a series of simple, experiential invitations: breath, stillness, gentle movement, fire-side, time on the land, and moments of quiet connection. Nothing is required. Participation is always by choice. If at any point you feel the need to speak something out loud, you're welcome to find me. I'm happy to listen. No fixing, no feedback- just space.

You are welcome to bring all of yourself — clarity or confusion, restlessness or calm. Different parts of you are allowed to have a seat without needing to be managed.

A pot of soup and hot tea will be available throughout the day. You’re encouraged to bring additional food or drinks that best support your body. There will be a relaxed lunch window for eating, resting, or connecting as feels natural.

Silence is welcome. Conversation is welcome. There is no expectation to share and no pressure to stay quiet.

This retreat is for anyone who feels called to pause, sense from within, and allow what’s next to emerge in its own time.
