Our Rooted Sisterhood group had a great time with Robin from Queen E's Arts. She brought super cute ceramics for us to paint. I highly recommend for any group! She has so many fun art projects to choose from!

Just a friendly reminder that if you have had symptoms of a virus, cold or flu in the past 24-48 hours, please reach out to me before coming to your appointment to reschedule. I will not charge a cancellation fee. I have both clients and family members with compromised immunity that I am committed to not passing on those things on to. I will not be working sick and exposing you and I appreciate not being exposed as a self employed person without sick days or paid time off.
Also, a fun fact about receiving massage while you are sick… your lymphatic system is busy capturing all of the “bugs” and taking them to the lymph node “holding cells” where they will hopefully be defeated and eliminated out of the body… if you receive massage before that process is finished, there could be a release of those “bugs” back out to recirculate and make you feel miserable. Better to stay home, rest, let it run its course, hydrate and heal. Then come in once you’re symptom free and sit in the sauna and get a massage to help you bounce back to normal energy!

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting our local Zonta women’s group and helped them bag up birthing kits for underprivileged women in struggling countries. Each kit contained simple but important items easily obtained for us… one plastic sheet to lay on, clean gauze, string for umbilical tie off, a razor blade, a pair of gloves and a bar of soap…in a quart sized ziplock bag… it highlighted how fortunate we are in this country to not have to worry about taking a bag like this into our hospitals to be sanitary, or to put down on dirt floors or open ground… I pray each of these kits( more than 1100 packed up in these garbage bags) blesses each woman they come in contact with… thank you to my Rooted Sisters group for coming and helping out , it was a pleasure joining our groups for such an important thing!

I’m honored to have been asked to be the guest speaker at the Women’s One-Day Retreat hosted by Calvary Baptist Church on September 13, 2025 in Washington, PA.

This will be a day set apart to pause from the busyness, find encouragement, and be reminded of how God can reshape even our brokenness into beauty. I’ll be sharing my story of hope and self care, weaving it together with clay in my hands, and you’ll even get the chance to create a little piece of pottery yourself. ✨

6 years ago, we opened on July 1st. I felt the push to see who owned the old schoolhouse/church on Franklin Farms, got to talk with the owner (new friends!) who was willing to rent to us and let us renovate to meet our needs, we had the opportunity to buy massage tables from Penn Commercial who had closed their massage program ( this story is what made me know this was a “God thing”)
… and we hit the ground running for 3 months to renovate this old space (largely used for storage for several years ) and it has now become this comfortable space where I get to help my clients in their health journey and manage pain.
These 6 years we’ve added multiple modalities, my daughter in law joined me here to provide counseling, we’ve had terrific Bible studies, essential oil classes, sharing laughs and tears with clients, praying with and for them… and I pray so much more to come. It’s a privilege and a blessing to have this opportunity and I’m so grateful for the family and friends who helped make it happen!
