This month, we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week for our UP Home Daycare teachers. Many families donated to spoil them with lots of treats! While not everyone is pictured, we are incredibly thankful for the amazing staff members who pour so much love, creativity, and care into shaping young minds each day. Through play, music, games, learning activities, and endless patience, they create a fun and safe environment where our kiddos can learn, grow, and thrive.
Thank you to our daycare teachers for the hard work, dedication, and joy they bring each and every day! 🌟

The final day of National Skilled Nursing Care Week was packed with all the best things — a delicious employee breakfast, farm animals for all ages to enjoy, afternoon ice cream, and singalongs with Lena Adams! We even had a visit from the students with Orange & Black Giveback who helped clean up outdoors!
This week was filled with moments we will cherish for years to come. From our youngest kiddos to our residents and employees, each person plays a special role in making our campus such a wonderful place to be. This year’s theme, “Moments in Bloom,” beautifully reflects how everyday acts of compassion, connection, and teamwork grow into meaningful experiences for residents, families, and staff. It’s the little moments shared together that truly help our community bloom. 🌷☀️

Thursday’s Beach Day festivities were fueled by delicious pizza from Stone Wall Brick Oven Pizza! Employees enjoyed lunch before heading out with residents for a big afternoon walk around campus. It was a beautiful day to soak up the sunshine, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time together!

Day 3 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week was one to remember! Our campus enjoyed a delicious grill-out lunch with Maintenance manning the grill, Dining Services preparing the sides, and members of our Employee Appreciation team serving the meal. 🍔
The afternoon then took a magical turn as we welcomed magician Jackson Green! His interactive show kept everyone entertained and guessing from start to finish, with surprises around every corner. ✨
Thank you to everyone who helped make another fun and successful day possible!

This year’s National Skilled Nursing Care Week theme is “Moments in Bloom,” and we knew the perfect way to kick off the celebration! 🌸 Recently, we reopened the Health Center Front Porch following its beautiful remodel, and residents alongside our Activity Team spent the afternoon planting flowers and sipping frozen strawberry lemonades.
This special new space would not have been possible without the generosity and hard work of so many. A heartfelt thank you to the Washington Betterment Foundation and the Dick and Betty Colby Memorial Fund for helping make this project a reality through their donations. We are also incredibly grateful to Strabala Construction for completing the remodel and to Mid-Prairie Industrial Technology for creating the beautiful wheelchair-accessible planters.
It truly took many hands to bring this porch to life, and we look forward to the countless moments, memories, and gatherings that will bloom here for years to come. 🌼

Monday was all about celebrating Mothers! 💐 Normas Traveling Tea Party hosted the most elegant and meaningful afternoon, and every detail made our ladies feel so loved, honored, and appreciated. As they shared memories of their own mothers and stories of raising children, the room was filled with heartfelt connection, laughter, and beautiful moments of reflection.
Our ladies enjoyed tea, cucumber sandwiches, scones, and a sweet fruit cheesecake dessert before the fun continued with a lively game of “Traveling Bingo”! The afternoon wrapped up with a festive photo booth where our ladies dressed up, smiled big, and looked absolutely beautiful.
It was such a special celebration filled with pride, joy, and gratitude for the incredible mothers and mother figures who have touched so many lives. Norma, thank you again for the love and care you poured into making each woman feel so cherished! 💕

Today, we celebrate the women who fill our lives with love, strength, and support.💐 Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmas, bonus moms, and mother figures of all kinds who make such a meaningful difference each day.
We also hold space today for those remembering mothers who are no longer with us. Their love, lessons, and memories continue to live on in the hearts of so many.❤️
