We've done it again: another Recovery Month Pop-Up! This time in Latrobe. We're here to connect, share resources, and spread the word about the support available during National Recovery Month.

On Friday, our COE and Outpatient staff had the opportunity to attend the Council on Substance Abuse and Youth Prevention Conference at Westmoreland County Community College. This impactful event focused on tackling the critical issue of youth substance use. Huge shoutout to our very own Kelli Nabuda and Jenna Constantinovich, along with Jessica Anderson from the Monessen Family Center who were presenters at the event!

Last night folks from our Latrobe COE and Outpatient programs attended the Latrobe Police Department's National Night Out. What an event!! A great chance for the community to connect with their local police and build stronger relationships!

We were proud to take part in another Recovery Month Pop-Up with the Westmoreland Drug and Alcohol Commission in New Kensington in recognition of this month being National Recovery Month. These events are all about connecting with the community and sharing important info about the resources and support we offer during National Recovery Month.

We’re honored to be part of the movement reducing stigma and highlighting vital resources for recovery and harm reduction in our region.

Mark your calendars for October 14 and plan on attending a lecture on an important topic: pain management and substance abuse prevention. Get insightful information on managing pain responsibly and reducing the risk of addiction. This lecture is open to the public, so spread the word! In recognition of this month being National Recovery Month, we joined other organizations in Recovery Month Pop Ups. This event provided harm reduction supplies along with information on programs and services to those wanting to know more about substance use, treatment options, and support services. This is a prime example of the community coming together.
