Do You Know?
Community Health Centers are on the front lines of the nation's largest-ever National HIV Testing Day activation.

Today, KFF’s Greater Than HIV/STDs campaign and Walgreens are partnering with 480 local organizations to offer FREE rapid HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C testing at 580 Walgreens locations nationwide—and we’re proud that 1 in 5 testing locations will be staffed by a Community Health Center.

Community Health Centers are vital in the fight to end the HIV epidemic, offering trusted care that includes testing, prevention, treatment, and counseling, especially for those who need it most.

📊In 2023 alone, Community Health Centers conducted more than 4 million HIV tests.

🚨 BREAKING (and entering?) 🚨

At Agape Health Services, we proudly serve all people — every age, every stage, every walk of life…

Last night, one of our vehicles was gracefully mauled by an unexpected visitor — a black bear who apparently missed us after the Black Bear Festival and decided to make an unscheduled “follow-up appointment.” 🐾🚗

To the bear: While we appreciate your enthusiasm for accessible healthcare, we kindly ask you to stay in your natural habitat and out of our parking lot.

(Also… you scratched our car. You’re lucky we don’t bill your paw-surance. 🐻)

🎉 Happy Retirement, Mr. Horton! 🎉

After years of faithful and dedicated service, we are celebrating the retirement of a true behind-the-scenes hero — Mr. Horton, our Facility Services Manager. From early mornings to last-minute emergencies, Mr. Horton has been the steady hand and calming presence that kept our buildings (and our nerves!) in order.

His quiet leadership, work ethic, and heart for service have left a lasting impression on Agape Health Services. We are beyond grateful for his years of commitment and excellence.

Please join us in wishing Mr. Horton a joyful, peaceful, and well-earned retirement. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten!

ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital Opening Fall 2025

The ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital will open its doors in September of this year. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned in August to celebrate the opening of the new facility, which will provide a healing environment for those in need of behavioral health care.

The new hospital is a joint effort with Acadia Healthcare, a national leader in behavioral health care services, and will offer 144-bed inpatient beds including 24 inpatient beds dedicated to serving the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents – the only such beds within 75 miles of Greenville.
