The Arc of Beaufort County is an advocacy nonprofit organization.

The Arc is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We encompass all ages and more than 100 different diagnoses including autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, and various other developmental disabilities.

Yesterday we wrapped up week three of Arc with the spark summer camp. This week was our youngest age group. Thank you Rachel Todd for allowing us to use Pirate Port Playzone. Everyone had a blast!
The theme was Christmas in July!

We had a great first week of camp! This week was middle and high school aged students and the theme was Arctic!

Arc with the spark summer camp starts tomorrow! The first two weeks are for those with different abilities in middle and high school! Couple spots still open if you know anyone who is interested!

The next Saturday Night Jamboree dance will be on Saturday, June 7th from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm for our intellectual and developmental disabilities community at the Red Men's Lodge, 503 E 3rd St, Washington, NC. The dance theme is summer, so wear your summer attire and enjoy the evening with SNJNC. PLUS, clients will receive a print of their beautiful prom photos from the May prom event.
Light dinner and DJ music for dancing will be provided. The dances are free to clients and their caregivers. No RSVP is required but we do ask you to register upon arrival.
