Washingtonville Pediatrics is a healthcare facility that provides quality pediatric healthcare and also promotes a welcoming, relaxed environment where children and their parents are encouraged to learn and actively participate in preventative healthcare and treatment. Our state-of-the-art facility has video screens in every room showing educational videos on many child-health and development topics. The waiting room has a 125-gallon fish tank to soothe and entertain nervous and not-so-nervous children and parents alike. Our entire interior is designed to put children and their parents at ease. Beautiful architecture, lots of light, a wonderful display of colorful murals, and fanciful hallways and sitting spaces all help to relax patients and parents and to create a healthy, positive pediatric experience. We are all board certified pediatricians with membership in the American Academy of Pediatrics. We are on the attending staff at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. Our practice is an affiliate of Children's and Women's Physicians of Westchester. We have recently opened a new Health and Wellness Counseling Center, and added a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Dietitian to our practice! We are very excited to welcome Dr. McGann to Washingtonville Pediatrics!

Dr. Joseph McGann, or "Dr. Joe," is a Washingtonville native. He studied Biology at Wheaton College in Illinois and went to medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, NY. He completed his Pediatric residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. After completing residency, he stayed at Geisinger for an extra year as chief resident, where he served as a general pediatrician, pediatric hospitalist, and newborn nursery physician. Dr. McGann is very happy to finally be serving his hometown as a part of Washingtonville Pediatrics.

Outside of the office, Dr. Joe loves hiking, biking, running, and trying new hobbies. He loves learning new things, exploring new places, cooking new recipes, and trying new flavors of ice cream. If you see him in office, he is always taking recommendations for interesting new ice cream flavors to try.
