One of the things I love to do is to restore old saddles. This side saddle was built during the Civil War and has some fancy tooling and stamping for it's time. It needed to be cleaned up, the skirts straightened, and the pommel sewn up. I had to add a couple of new pieces to it, but it looks really nice and ready for display.
