Every time I’ve given birth, my immediate thought has been, “Thank God that’s over. I never want to do that again.” And yet, despite the exhaustion, there’s no denying that childbirth is one of the most awe-inspiring experiences imaginable.

It’s not just about bringing life into the world—it’s about what it demands from you. The physical endurance, the mental fortitude, and the emotional mindset you have to step into are unlike anything else. It pushes you to confront every limit you thought you had and go beyond them.

Childbirth is raw, intense, and messy, but it’s also transformative. It strips you down to your most vulnerable state and then fills you with a strength you didn’t know or maybe forgot, was possible.

It’s not just about the baby—it’s also about you, the birther, the overcomer. And while I may say, “Never again” in those first raw moments, time has a way of softening the edges of pain, leaving behind the deep, unshakable pride and gratitude. Gratitude not just for the life you’ve brought into the world, but for the strength and resilience you discovered in yourself.

Going into 2025, I carry my newborn and the reminder of the strength it took to bring her into this world. Her birth on January 1 was a powerful start to the year—a testament to perseverance, resilience, and the beauty of new beginnings.

This will be a year of perseverance, growth, and truly living. A year to honor the strength within me, to embrace challenges, and to cherish the lives I’ve been blessed to bring into this world. ✨🤍

I saw a post the other day about going back to when your child was a baby and having the chance to look into their eyes with love instead of survival, and I felt that so deep.

It can be so hard to really enjoy the process of creating a life or the humor of the younger years when you are just in survival mode. I’m so grateful to have been able to take some time to experience sensations in the present moment during a time of numbness. Find joy in something so simple as the feeling of flower petals on my skin. 🌹

The classic breastfeeding mama posture.

Neck pulled forward, shoulders pulled in, perpetually achey back.

Anyone else have a 20 pound love bug who will only fall asleep when you are out of anatomical alignment? 🙋🏽‍♀️

If this is you, I feel your pain. And, you probably need a massage. 🤍

Massage is not just about the body.
It’s about your souls connection with the body. The spirits connection with its physical self. When you go through something traumatic, the spirit holds on to that and stores it in the body as pain, weight loss or gain, infertility, imbalance, etc. When I work with someone, we are not just working on the body. We are working with the spirit.

Sometimes the fear is persistent.

You practice mindfulness and affirmations on the reg, and still anxiety hits you every time. And sometimes the only way to get passed that fear, is to be scared, but do it anyway.

See it, feel it, hear it anyway. Maybe the fear goes away, maybe it doesn’t. But at least it didn’t stop you from living.

You may (or may not) have noticed I got rid of all posts about the customized pricing structure. That would be because it wasn’t quite hitting, so I decided to scrap it. I was fully aware that it was a bit of an experiment and the likelihood of it working out was low, but I’m glad I gave it a shot because, truly, it can be a challenge to live in a society where money reigns.

So, what now? I have gone back to set prices. They are now live on my website and you can book directly from any of the booking links.

Accessibility is still very important to me so here is what I will be doing to maintain that:

1. I will be adding a few package and membership options which will include discounted services. Payment plans are also available for packages.
2. Barter option will still be in effect for those who want to use it.
3. I will be offering no consultation required specials throughout the year.
4. I will be putting 99% of all gratuity toward a women’s wellness fund to sponsor massage for those who cannot afford it. The other 1% will be donated.

Thank you for being so patient and riding this wild ride of business ownership with me. I am forever grateful. 🙏
