Nordstrom Family Dental/Wee Care Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a Dental Accounts Receivable/Billing Coordinator to join our team!

Responsibilities:
• Submit dental insurance claims & post insurance payments
• Review insurance denials for accuracy and follow-up
• Prepare, review and send patient statements
• Collect outstanding patient balances/set up financial arrangements
• Submit appeals to insurance companies
• Handle patient billing phone calls & communication
• Submit pre-authorizations for dental treatment
• Update fee schedules
• Insurance credentialing
• Manage HIPAA compliance
• Review treatments plans with patients
• Other duties as needed (answering phones, scheduling patients, insurance verification, checking patients in/out, etc.)
Qualifications:
• MUST have dental billing experience
• Self motivated and a team player
• Detail orientated
• Excellent phone skills

Dr. Nordstrom and his Passion!

Dr. Nordstrom was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. He grew up with the influence of dentistry from his father, the late Donald Nordstrom, who specialized in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Nordstrom has been practicing in Alaska since his graduation in 2004. He began as an associate working both in Anchorage and Wasilla. He ventured into opening his own practice in September of 2008 and became a dentist Wasilla trusts when he established Nordstrom Family Dental at its current location.

Dr. Nordstrom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Montana State University-Bozeman in 1999. He was accepted into Creighton University Dental School where he obtained his Doctorate in Dental Science in 2004. Dr. Nordstrom is currently a member of the Alaska Dental Association and the Mat-Su Dental Association.

In his spare time, Dr Nordstrom enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and flying. He has a great passion for the outdoors and is fortunate to be able to live and work in a place that allows him to enjoy both.
