That’s why we’ve created the Backcountry Side-by-Side Quick Tips Series — safety reminders built for the way Alaskans really ride in the fall. From hauling game to tackling slick trails, these tips will help you stay prepared and confident on every trip.

Alaska Safe Riders is proud to be part of the 17th Annual Mat-Su Emergency Preparedness Expo on Saturday, September 20th • 10 AM – 3 PM • Menard Sports Center, Wasilla.

We’ll have our mobile classroom on site with avalanche search and rope training challenges running all day. Plus, don’t miss our Prepared for the Backcountry Workshop 🏔️ happening 12:30–1:30 PM inside the Menard Sports Center.

Made possible with support from the Alaska Department of Public Safety in partnership with the Alaska Avalanche Information Center, this family-friendly class is:
✨ A refresher for seasoned riders
✨ A perfect intro for newcomers to Alaska
✨ Packed with giveaways — helmets, goggles, headlamps & more!
