Post a picture or it didn’t happen, right?

I got off work late today and had to head straight home to pick up the hubby and kids so we could get to Makayla’s school to watch our girl play some 🏐. We left right after the game ended and as soon as we got home, I got at it. I changed into my workout clothes and jumped right into my workout.

I worked legs today and tried out another one of workouts. This was my first leg workout to try of hers and it about killed me haha! My legs were like jello by the end of it all. But, like all the workouts I’ve tried of hers, it was so good!!

I leave for Wisconsin at 6 am tomorrow morning. I still have not packed. I could have come home and made the excuse that I didn’t have time to workout tonight due to all the things I still have to take care of before I have to wake up at 3:30 am., but I didn’t. I could give myself 45 min. I owe it to myself. It was a quick workout, but intense and all that matters is I got it in for the day!

Late workout, but I got it in!! Also today was my 3rd and final day of fasting!! Ended it around 6:30 this evening and it felt so good to eat something! It’s amazing how much better my body feels! The constant bloated feeling is gone and my body feels lighter.

I could barely walk today from my legs being so sore from Mondays workout. I know most of you know this, but the 2nd day is ALWAYS the worst!!! My upper body was pretty sore today too from yesterdays workout so I decided to do a cardio workout tonight. Crazy how stiff my movement was when first starting the workout and how better I was able to move when finishing. Cardio is the best thing when dealing with sore muscles to help prevent injury.

Tried out another one of workouts, the 30 minute Tabata Cardio Workout from her POWER program. SO. GOOD. I absolutely love her energy and how challenging her workouts are whether you’re at home or in a gym. Y’all check her stuff out!

Day 2 of fasting and working out! It’s amazing how great I still feel while working out and only having water (and my one cup of coffee in the morning…wouldn’t be able to function without my coffee) these last couple of days. Definitely still taking it easy and not lifting too heavy or doing anything too extreme. What your body is capable of simply amazes me. 2 days just about down, 1 more to go.

I worked upper body today and tried out a killer 30 minute upper body workout by !! Check out her YouTube channel! Can’t wait to try out more of her workouts!!

Back to the gym selfies!! Today also marked my first day of fasting. Goal is to fast for 3 days, but I’d be happy with 2. Need to detox all the crap out of my system so I can start fresh on keto again. I really need to get control of my health and stop making excuses of being too busy or tired. Today is Monday, I’m exhausted, I had to pick up one child from choir rehearsal right after work then was home for maybe 15 min before I had to leave again to take another kid to the high school to get ready for her Fall Choir Concert that’s tonight at 7:30. It wasn’t a super long workout, but it was a good one. This is my life and I have to make time for myself in between all the chaos. Could really use some motivation to keep me going! This season of life is hard, but I have to keep at it.

Man am I going to be sore tomorrow!!! 💪

I did it!! I got my butt back to the gym! I had poison ivy and bronchitis all at the same time back in May and right before then was the last time I worked out! Ya it’s been THAT long!! 😣

I’ve been tired of making excuses and being depressed because of all the weight I’ve gained and all the muscle I worked on for so long completely going away, so today I finally decided to do something about it!

I know I’ve posted about a million of these “I’m back at it” posts and hopefully I’ll be able to get more consistent again with my workouts, but no matter how often I fall behind, I’m always going to celebrate the victories and the days I do decide to “get back at it”. I’m proud of myself for going. I could have made a million excuses today, because my kids have a million places to be today and my house is a wreck, but I made time for myself and got it done!

I tried out this new workout program called Fitbod and LOVED it!!! I have it set to build muscle tone and lose weight so it had me do a lot more cardio than I’m used to and it about killed me, but I pushed through and completed every single set. I can customize it for home workouts too for the days I can’t make it to the gym!! Y’all should check it out! Here’s the workout if any of you want to give it a try!!

YALL!! This is seriously one of the best lunches I have ever had!!! OMG!!! 🤤 And it was sooo easy!!! I have LOVED every single recipe so far I have gotten from the Carb Manager app!!! Cannot wait to make this again!!!

Ingredients:
• 2 portabella mushrooms
• 1 1/2 cups baby spinach, cut pieces
• 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
• 2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
• 1 tbs olive oil
• salt
• pepper

Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2️⃣ Remove the stalks from the mushrooms and wipe clean. Brush the mushroom all over with olive oil and arrange side by side in an oven proof dish. Transfer to the oven and bake for 5 min.

3️⃣ Transfer the spinach to a colander and run under boiling water until just wilted.

4️⃣ Remove the part cooked mushrooms from the oven. Squeeze any excess water from the spinach and layer over the top of the mushrooms. Season each generously with salt and pepper.

5️⃣ Crumble 1/4 cup of blue cheese over the top of each mushroom.

6️⃣ Transfer the mushrooms back to the oven for a further 4-5 min or until the cheese has melted and the mushrooms are tender.

7️⃣ Scatter over the chopped walnuts to serve.
