Master the Hip Hinge in 5 Steps ๐Ÿ’ฅ
Stop squatting your hingeโ€”do this instead:

Stance: Feet under hips, โ€œtripodโ€ foot (big toe, little toe, heel).
Brace: Soft knees, ribs down, light core brace.
Hips back: โ€œClose the car door with your butt.โ€ Shins stay almost vertical.
Long spine: Chin slightly tucked; keep ribs + pelvis stacked.
Stand tall: Drive through mid-foot/heels, squeeze glutes at the topโ€”donโ€™t lean back.
Quick checks:

Feel it in glutes/hamstrings, not your low back.
From the side, hips go back, not knees forward.
Stop when hamstrings stretch, no back rounding.
Common mistakes:
๐Ÿšซ Knees drifting forward (thatโ€™s a squat)
๐Ÿšซ Over-arching or rounding the low back
๐Ÿšซ Looking up/cranking the neck
