I am still reeling from the incredible Organic Edge event “A Midsummer Nights Wellness Reset” that of produced at . We had a bunch of activations, craniosacral with red light therapy, giving us all ear seeds, giving out B12 shots and I was previewing my bio-energetics. put out the most beautiful and delicious spread and with by serving up the most delicious mocktails.

Is Colon Hydrotherapy Safe?
👉 Here’s what the science says.

Clinical Studies Support Safety
👉 A 175-person clinical study in the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology & Hepatology found colon hydrotherapy to be safe and effective, with no serious side effects reported. When done correctly, it is a very safe procedure.

Infection Risk? Handled.
👉 We use sterile, single-use equipment, hospital disinfection protocols, an FDA registered system and certified therapists to eliminate risk of contamination. Autoclaved speculums are a no-no.

Electrolyte Imbalance?
👉 We support your body during & after sessions with hydration and electrolytes.

The Microbiome?
👉 No current studies show colonics harm your gut flora. Please reread that. While studies on oral colonoscopy prep prove that they do negatively affect the microbiome. More research is needed, but current data suggests possible benefits. In fact, a Japanese study collected pre- and post-treatment stool samples and suggested improvements in bowel and immune health following 3 colon hydrotherapies in a 2 week period. Unfortunately, the researchers didn’t publish microbiome sequencing data, so we can’t yet conclusively confirm whether beneficial bacteria increased or overall diversity changed. Still, the findings are encouraging and point toward the need for more detailed research.

I know it’s time for New Year resolutions and promises for a healthier and happier you. I don’t care why or when you decide to treat your body better, just that you do! I wanted to share a few commitments I’m making to myself for a better me in 2025!

I’d like to commit to working a little less, but with all the exciting things coming, I know that’s a promise I probably won’t be able to keep. Instead, I am upping my quick ‘glimmers of wellness’ throughout my day. I have set an alarm (yes, an annoying alarm) every hour for me to take a 10-second nervous system reset. Take some deep breaths, feel my shoulders release and my heart come back into coherence. This was actually a suggestion from one of you. The community we have built here means the world to me.

After my mini breathwork sesh, I finish with some water and electrolytes. I truly think this small hourly indulgence will help me feel my best in a big way. I will, non-negotiable, start my day with meditation and continue my daily morning walks that have been part of my morning routine since the 2024 commitments I made to myself . Consistency is key here so make commitments to yourself that are attainable. Set yourself up for success. I love you all and can’t wait to be a part of your health journey in 2025! 🤍
