Fun filled day with the Mousam River Stem Academy!

🌟 Field Trip Fun at Mousam River STEM Academy! 🌟 Our elementary school students had an amazing field trip at the Alfred Waterboro Veterinary Hospital, where they got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to be a veterinarian! 🐾

A huge thank you to Dr. Gauvin for her warm welcome and for bringing in her beautiful dog for a check-up. The kids were able to see the entire process from start to finish, learning all about the wonderful care and attention animals receive at the vet. 🐕💉

But that’s not all! The students also had the chance to explore x-rays of different animals, from a cat to a chicken 🐱🐔, and got hands-on experience with a microscope to examine a blood sample! 🧬🔬 They also got a chance to touch and feel extracted dog teeth! 🦷

It was an exciting and educational experience, and we're so grateful for the opportunity to learn from the professionals at Alfred Waterboro Veterinary Hospital. This trip was a wonderful way to spark curiosity and inspire future STEM careers in our students! 🚀
