This Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to talk about something that does not get enough attention.

Loneliness in older women. 💙

Research tells us that social isolation is one of the leading contributors to depression, cognitive decline, and poor health outcomes in women over 60. But behind every statistic is a real woman, eating alone, spending quiet days without connection, and slowly losing her sense of belonging.

Southmayd Home was built to change that.

From shared meals and garden afternoons to activities, conversation, and a community that genuinely knows your name, life at Southmayd is designed around connection. Because when women thrive together, everything changes.

If you or someone you love could use a warmer, more connected place to call home, we are here.
