CNV Senior Service Network promote cooperation, coordination, and communication among service providers who deliver services to seniors and elderly in Greater Waterbury CT b. c. d. e. f.

CNV is an Association established in 1992 to promote cooperation, coordination, and communication among service providers and the community who participate in planning and delivery of social, legal, and health related services to seniors and elderly of the Greater Waterbuty Connecticut extending east to Southington and west to Southbury, Connecticut including the Central Naugatuck Valley area. The association does this by:
a. Linking providers together to improve resource sharing and mutual planning. Providing education to Network members on skills needed to integrate services and improve delivery of services. Advocating on behalf of the needs of elderly in the CNV area. Discovering overlapping services, identifying needs that are not being met, and exploring possibilities for further coordination. Sponsoring community-wide events to reach out to seniors and their caregivers. Establishing a resource base for professionals and their organizations who are new to the CNV region. Membership in the association is open to businesses, professionals and provider organizations and agencies that serve the elderly in our geographic area.

The association does this by:
a. Linking providers together to improve resource sharing and mutual planning.
b. Providing education to Network members on skills needed to integrate services and improve delivery of services.

Our next C.N.V. meeting will be held at the Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging and our speaker will be Gina Greene.
She will explain the Respite Care and National Family Caregiver programs available to many of our clients.
Please feel free to forward this invite to your colleagues in the area but request that they do RSVP for seating purposes.
