For those of you who do not know me my name is Carol Hiller (Mosser). I am MS warrior; back in 2005 I was diagnosed with relapsing/remitting MS and have been fighting along with multiple health issues. Over the years life has not been easy but I have always

managed to get back up because I am a FIGHTER! I became a grandmother beginning in 2008. Currently I have 7 grandbabies. Which fulfill my life with so much more love and blessings! In the last several months I started to think my MS was flaring up again and then on May 7, 2021 I was officially 4th stage Lung Adenocarcinoma. Non curable but it is also NOT a death sentence. Normally I do not ask for help and try to do it on my own or with help from family/friends. But currently especially with Covid-19 /We need the financial assistance. We are currently looking for help with medical, medical equipment, housing, transportation, ECT cost

I am currently doing radiation treatments, with only 2 left and a follow up on Friday the 21 to go over the results from the radiation. They will be treating me based on my symptoms. On behalf of the Hiller family, we are asking for any monetary donation to help toward the cost of copays, traveling to and from treatment, medicine, and living expenses. Any amount no matter how great or small helps. Also, all prayers and good vibes are greatly appreciated. From my heart and my family, we love you all and would like to thank you in advance.

Had biopsy done. Really weak, plus having tremors in left arm. Limited at what can I do for now; hoping it will be better with my knee once I get my shots🤗

Well as you can see no sleepy. I took a nap earlier and of course now I cannot sleep, or it is nerves for tomorrow. My biopsy is tomorrow morning at 9:00 am. It should not take too long; so hopefully I will be home not later than 11:00 am!
Today was a better day did not get up till almost 9:30 so at least I am getting some rest till we get my new bed! I am super excited for the bed; keeping my fingers crossed this week 🤩

Had a rough day🤕 Took a fall this morning and I already am in desperate need of this shot that I get that helps with cartilage in replacement in your knee, so it’s been physically a tough one. Plus, my feet are all swollen error. We are getting through it though. My hubby was here today and moved furniture and packed up some stuff to help me move around the house with my walker. Been a long-time time using that. Plus, now my confidence is off. Just got done my feet and applying Lana cane cream, which does help. Grateful we are getting things I need!!!

Not able to spend Father’s Day with my dad this year as he had been around someone who ill and I have way too much coming up this week to need to get sick; so, he and mom are hanging at Mike and Jenn's♥

The picture posted is of me and my Gram's (Mom; when my mom became ill emotionally my grandma stepped right in even though she was always there). That woman was remarkable! She is who helps give me strength when I do not think I have it! She would always say honey tomorrow is another day and it will be better, and it was. I miss her so very much but at least I know she is with my baby girl's and that helps ❤️‍🩹

Good afternoon everyone Just a quick update. We only need another $1200.00 to get the medical bed!!! Yippie!!! Soooo excited to be able to sleep again hopefully as normal as possible. Next is the medical bathtub which is $2500.00 so any help is deeply appreciated!!!
Next week is a busy week. Monday Dr Appt, Tue biopspy, and then Thur 6 hours of chemo. So I am not sure how much updating you'll get from me; but Meghan Rogers will be if I am not able.

So sorry it has been so long.... Still doing well; having some strenght issues, but other than that doing great♥ My daughter and her boyfriend Don came to visit still here so I am enjoying every moment♥

On the 22 I am scheduled for a tissue biopsy and then the 24 another chemo treatment. Waiting on an MRI to be scheduled. So that is where I stand right now.

As you can see my port is healing well♥ I finally got to spend quality time with my Momma♥ We started the day with lunch at Mega Coney (BEST hot roast beef EVER)! then onto shopping. She got almost everything she wanted or needed, then back to my house and we hung out had dinner then my son Tyler took her home so I could rest (always looking out for his momma♥) So now I am catching everyone up as much as possibe.
I went and saw the radation dr. yeserday and he said I am did great through those treaments, order an MRI for 2 weeks and then we go on June 28 and go over the results and go from there.
I have an appoitment on Friday with the oncologist to go over chemo and how it is going which so far so good.. More tireness, weakness, but other than that I can ccount my blessings♥
I can no longer sleep in my bed; I am in a recliner chair or bath which is not the greatest either way it is better then the bed! So please help me get this bed it is $2500.00. So any help is tremendously appreciated!!!

Today was my first chemo treatment. Went really well! I thought for sure 6 hours to 6.5 hours was going to take forever; but it went by fast. I have excellent care from all the staff at Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Clarkston, Dr. Harmony Sierens MD and Dr. Richard Cohen and of course my family/friends♥

I truly feel blessed♥ My chemo seems to be going very well so far. I have 5 more treatments to go every 21 days. (So I pray it keeps going the way it is so far)

I have discovered a few things after being diagnosed: Such as do you know there are only 3 research going on for Lung Adenocarcinoma (SAD)! There is also no funding for any Cancer programs right now except for children and people who have children under 18. I will be participating in all 3 (they are just surveys and paperwork)! But if what I can do can help someone else; then lets kick cancer ass!

I would like to add something that affects me; because I cannot be there for my family, but I am with you in your heart always. My sister-in-law and family lost her mom Jane Corbett on May 30, 2021, Do not think of me as gone. I am with you still in each new dawn ♥I love you all and I hope today goes as well as xoxo.
Please keep them in your prayers and thoughts as they deal with her funeral today♥

Well I have been at Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Clarkston since 8:30 A.M. Opened up my port ( which was nada, did not even feel it). Im starving so I ordered pizza lol.

I had chemo class yesterday because tomorrow I do my first 6 hour chemo treatment. I will be getting them over the next 6 month's 1 6 hour treatment. Some of the med's will be to help build my immune system. No crazy side effects - just cannot go into any publlic setting for the first five days after.

As having Multiple Sclerosis for 15 years. I have dealt with worse. Prior to being dignoised I could not even walk without a walker, tremors, way worse systems. I did interferon treatments for that for some time, but my kids were small and needed their Mom so we have only been treating my symptoms for some time now and I have been doing very well.

This will be fine, just need to get a bed A.S.A.P, per doctor request which is $2500.00. So if you are able to help; Please donate only what you can afford.

My Bro Mike, my hero always♥ This man is an amazing person♥ He is a great son, brother, hubby, dad, and now a granddad, plus... He has a heart of gold and will try to help anyone who is trying to help themselves. He is extremely motivational in everything but even more at his job he takes much pride in working as General Manager at Mathews Hargraves Chevrolet and GM loves him as they should!

He obviously served and I am so very proud and blessed to have him as my brother♥
