We had such a wonderful day at Waterford Oaks Senior Care today! 💛 Our residents enjoyed a fun and creative craft activity, filling the afternoon with laughter, conversation, and beautiful handmade projects.

We’re also looking forward to a special upcoming party hosted by Mid-Michigan Hospice 🎉 Their kindness and support mean so much to our residents and families, and we’re grateful for their partnership in bringing joy and connection to our community.

💛 Pet Therapy Update 💛

Hello friends and families,

We have some sad news to share — Les and Grace (our wonderful pet therapy dog) will be taking some much-needed rest and are unable to continue their visits to our home for now.

To show our appreciation for all the joy, comfort, and smiles they brought to our residents, we’ll have a thank-you card available Monday at the sign-in tables in each building. Please feel free to stop by and sign it with your well wishes.

We are so grateful for the time and love Les and Grace have shared with us, and we wish them both rest and good health. 🐾💖

If anyone knows another family with a certified pet therapy dog, please reach out to management — we’d love to explore continuing this special program that means so much to our residents.

Yesterday, October 15th, marked 18 wonderful years since Waterford Oaks Senior Care, Inc. first opened our doors back in 2007.
Although we’re a day late in posting, our gratitude is timeless. ❤️

As a family-owned and operated senior care home, we’ve had the privilege of serving so many incredible residents and their families over the years. Every story shared, every smile, and every moment of care has shaped who we are today.
