Carrying Narcan helps save a life. Ending the stigma around Narcan starts with understanding that harm reduction is healthcare and compassion saves lives.
At Meridian, we offer free Narcan at all of our locations because every life is worth protecting. This life-saving medication gives someone a second chance — a chance to breathe, a chance to recover and a chance to reconnect with the people who love them.
You can also find free Narcan and overdose prevention resources at Save A Life Stations located throughout Oakland County.
Healing doesn’t only happen in isolation; it grows through connection, accountability, and shared experience. When men and women come together in recovery, something powerful happens: stories are understood, strength is reinforced, and hope continues to build.
At Meridian, our Men’s and Women’s Alumni Programs meet one Friday each month, creating a space for continued connection and support long after treatment ends. Staying connected to a recovery community can make all the difference.
Alumni is about more than looking back; it’s about moving forward together. It’s about celebrating milestones, navigating challenges, and reminding one another that long-term recovery is possible.
We invite you to join us. Your recovery community is here. Keep an eye out on our page for the next Alumni event.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and the strength of women everywhere. 🥰
We honor the strong women who lead, nurture, rebuild and rise. We honor the mothers, daughters, sisters and friends who carry both visible and invisible battles with courage. And we especially honor the recovery warriors who choose healing, even when it is hard.
Recovery takes resilience. It takes vulnerability. It takes the bravery to break cycles and build something new. Women in recovery are not just surviving, they are redefining their futures and showing the next generation what strength truly looks like.
At Meridian, our Women’s Residential Program is designed to provide a safe, supportive and empowering space where women can focus fully on their recovery journey. Here, women find community, trauma informed care and the tools they need to reclaim their lives.
If you or someone you love is ready to take that step, we are here to help.
Call 248-599-8999 to learn more about our Women’s Residential Program.
Strong women build strong communities. And recovery is one of the bravest things a woman can choose. 💜

Today we observe Black Balloon Day. 🖤
March 6 is a day to honor and remember the loved ones lost to drug overdose. It is also a day to stand with those in recovery, support families who carry this loss and raise awareness about the ongoing opioid crisis affecting our communities.
Black balloons placed outside homes, businesses and treatment centers serve as a powerful symbol of remembrance and a reminder that every life lost mattered.
Today we remember.
Today we support those in recovery.
Today we continue working to break the stigma surrounding addiction and recovery.
If you or someone you love is struggling, know that help is available and recovery is possible.
Employee appreciation is more than a thank you. It is a recognition of the compassion, patience and dedication our team brings every single day.
Our staff show up for people in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. They listen without judgment. They encourage when hope feels far away. They create a safe space where recovery can begin.
The work is not always easy. It takes strength, empathy and commitment. And our team continues to lead with professionalism and heart.
To every team member, thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond these walls. Because of you, recovery happens here.
We are grateful for each of you and proud to work alongside you. 💙

A recovery warrior woman is strong, not because her journey was easy — but because she chose to keep going. 💜
She is resilient in the face of cravings, courageous in moments of doubt and committed to becoming the healthiest version of herself. She understands that sobriety isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress. It’s about showing up for herself every single day, even when it’s hard.
She rebuilds what was broken.
She sets boundaries.
She heals out loud so others know it’s possible.
A recovery warrior woman supports other women, lifts them up and isn’t afraid to ask for help when she needs it. She is proof that strength and vulnerability can exist in the same space.
At Meridian, we celebrate the women who fight for their recovery — and win it back one day at a time. 💫

🌸 Happy Women’s History Month 🌸
This month, we honor the strength, resilience, and courage of women — past and present — who have shaped families, communities, and history itself.
At Meridian, we see that same strength every day in the women who choose healing, choose growth, and choose recovery.
Women belong in every space where decisions are made.
Women belong in leadership.
Women belong in healing.
Women belong in history.
Here’s to the women who came before us — and to the women rising right now. 💜
