𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗔𝗡’𝘀 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀? I just became the QRT Coordinator for Midland and Saginaw, and go out with the Saginaw team.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵? I work as a PRC because I want to help others in early recovery. I’m not sure I would have made it without the amazing supports I had early on, and I want to give back what was given to me. I also find it helpful for my own recovery journey. It keeps me humble by reminding me where I, too, once was.

Our first workshop will be presented by Megan Aubin. She is the Medical Services Manager at Meridian Health Services and will discuss something of critical importance to all those we serve: the impact of substance use disorder on the family system. This is something she is very passionate about and is certain to deliver an informative presentation.

A few things to remember:
• Downed power lines may be hidden by debris, so be careful as you head outside.
• Stay at least a bus length (20 feet) away from downed power lines and don’t touch anything they may be in contact with – always consider them live and dangerous.
• Yellow caution tape indicates there is a downed power line in the area. DO NOT CROSS YELLOW CAUTION TAPE.
• Never use a portable generator inside a home or business. It emits carbon monoxide, which can be deadly. Keep it outside, away from windows and doors, so the fumes won’t come in
