Here I am surgically removing another Spitz nevus — a lesion that can look harmless but absolutely deserves a closer evaluation.

Many of my staff members (all former tanning bed users) are developing unusual moles and even early melanomas. That’s not a coincidence.

Indoor tanning significantly increases your risk of melanoma — especially when exposure happens at a young age. The damage doesn’t always show up right away… but your skin remembers.

If you have changing, growing, or “just doesn’t feel right” spots — get them checked. Early detection is key.
