Measles is back in the news again after a recent outbreak in a Florida school. The virus is wildly contagious and young children are especially vulnerable. That’s why AAP recommends children receive the measles vaccine between 12 to 15 months of age. If your child isn’t old enough to be vaccinated, there are other ways to protect them if an outbreak occurs in your community.
