Registration is now open for my next Perinatal Loss Training!

This is a 2-day virtual training for birth workers and perinatal providers who want to feel more confident supporting families through pregnancy loss and pregnancy after loss.

🗓 June 18 + 25
⏰ 11am–2pm EST
💻 Live + 30-day replay access

✨ Michigan Medicaid-enrolled doulas are eligible for reimbursement through the Doula RISE initiative✨️

I say this all the time… it’s honestly unreal to me that this kind of training isn’t automatically included in most programs!!

If you work with the perinatal population, you will encounter someone who has been touched by loss. Whether it happens during your time with them or is part of their story already, it’s there.

Throughout the training we’ll focus on both the emotional and practical side of support, so you feel more grounded in what to say, what to do, and how to show up with clarity and compassion.

Not just for your clients, but for your own confidence too!!

🐦 Early bird pricing is available for the first 8 spots!

You can register through the link in my bio!

If you tend to prefer learning in person, stay tuned! I’ll be opening registration soon for a June training in Ann Arbor ❤️

Saturday's in-person loss training was incredible!! I am always moved by the participants thoughtful questions and contributions, and it's an honor to teach more birth workers how to support and hold space for loss families. This was the first training that included two male participants, and their curiosity and engagement was amazing! Thank you to everyone who attended, from the bottom of my heart! 🤍🤍

Perinatal loss touches so many families, yet most professionals are never taught how to truly support them.

On Saturday, February 21, I’m offering another in-person Perinatal Loss Training at Nest & Nurture in Ann Arbor for doulas, nurses, and perinatal professionals who want to show up with more clarity, confidence, and compassion when loss occurs.

This training was created from a blend of lived experience, clinical work, and education, with care taken to keep it practical, approachable, and grounded in what birth workers need most.

We will focus on:

💜 Trauma- and grief-informed support and compassionate communication
💜 The physical and emotional realities of different types of loss
💜 Memory-making and lactation after loss
💜 Supporting families through the complexities of pregnancy after loss

If you’ve ever felt unsure what to say or do in these moments, this space is for you!

Space is limited! Link in bio to register.

I had the opportunity to attend Stepping Into Winning Season event last weekend, and I’m still invigorated from the experience!

The event offered the chance to slow down, get grounded, and intentionally look ahead. It invited reflection and celebration through mindfulness, creativity, music, and community, all while supporting an organization that cares deeply for parents navigating pregnancy and infant loss!

It was a reminder that honoring our goals can be both meaningful and joyful and that celebrating our wins matters!

I’m so grateful to and Remembering Cherubs for creating space for me to reflect and realign, and I’m SO ready to step into 2026 and my winning season!

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, and tonight from 7–8pm in every time zone, candles will be lit across the world for the International Wave of Light.

The awareness this day brings is needed, but for many of us, we carry our pain a little heavier today. We are reminded of what we’ve lost, and of what we wish we didn’t understand so deeply.

To the friends and family of bereaved parents, I invite you to please:

🩵 Set an alarm for 7pm
🩷 Light a candle
💜 Text your loved one
❤️ Use their baby’s name, if they have one

These small acts of remembrance matter. They remind us that our babies are remembered, our pain is acknowledged, and we are not alone.

October is a month full of duality for me, a reminder of how grief and love live side by side. Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month brings reflection on my own grief and that of the families I serve, and reinforces why we need more perinatal professionals trained to support this type of loss. 🩷💙

After the incredible response to last month’s training, I feel inspired to bring Tides of Life: In-Person Perinatal Loss Training to Ann Arbor to continue this mission with another community of compassionate caregivers!

Join me Saturday, November 8th at Nest & Nurture in Ann Arbor for a full-day training designed to help doulas, nurses, and perinatal professionals feel more confident and prepared to support families through loss.

Your registration includes a digital workbook to support your learning, lunch, and a certificate of completion, along with a day of community and reflection you won’t forget!

A heartfelt thank you to .and.nurture.a2 for sharing your beautiful space, and to for capturing these photos from our last training ❤️

Space is limited, secure your spot through the link in bio!

Today kicks off Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, and I'm so honored to share my story and these duality this month carries for me in this blog post with Detroit Mom🩷💙

The duality of motherhood exists daily. Local mom Ashley is reflecting on pregnancy after loss and the feelings of both gratitude and grief.

I am still holding the beauty and depth of my in-person Perinatal Loss Training on September 20th close to my heart. Eighteen doulas and perinatal providers gathered together in person, filling the room with so much care and commitment! ✨️

Being in community at was so special, and I am incredibly grateful to them for opening their space and providing $500 in partial scholarships to help make this training more accessible!

The natural conversations that unfolded were powerful! The questions asked, the stories shared, and the willingness to learn from one another created a depth that cannot happen alone. I am beyond grateful to Nora of , who helped us reset halfway through with grounding meditation and gentle movement, allowing us to reenter with calmness and openness to receive what can be such a heavy and important topic, pregnancy loss and pregnancy after loss.

I am thankful for the many wonderful humans that made this day possible…for .jackson's steady support in planning and sharing the event, and for who not only captured the energy of the day so beautifully but did so with such thoughtfulness and care!

A big shout-out to and for the fantastic samples of bone broth that we were able to take and share with the families we serve. I am so grateful to know and work with all of these amazing people! ❤️

The commitment to gaining these tools is what will change the care families receive, and I am grateful to play a part in that shift!
