👁️✨ Did you know? The first contact lenses weren’t modern or comfy at all — they were made of blown glass in 1887! German glassblower F.A. Müller crafted them to cover the whole eye (ouch 😳). Early wearers could only tolerate them for a few hours, but these bold experiments paved the way for the soft, breathable lenses we use today.

🐾👀 Happy National Dog Day! Did you know dogs need eye care too? 🐕✨

Just like us, our four-legged friends can develop eye issues like cataracts, glaucoma, or dry eye. Veterinary “optometrists” (ophthalmologists for animals) even use tools similar to human eye doctors — and in special cases, dogs can wear contact lenses or protective Doggles®! 🕶️🐾
