It’s almost Halloween! Here are a few tips to ensure a safe and spooky good time:

• Avoid applying glitter or other costume makeup inside the lash line. It can increase irritation and dryness of the eye surface.
• Make sure any costume masks or eye accessories do not block your vision. Loss of depth perception and restricted peripheral vision can increase your risk of injury.
• Only wear costume contact lenses that have been properly fitted and purchased from an authorized retailer that require a prescription. Steer clear of any Halloween novelty stores or websites.
