Where has time gone? It’s already October and just a month away from the MGC Fall Family History Seminar. And what a seminar it will be!
If you haven’t registered, now is the time!
Registration for the Michigan Genealogical Council Fall Family History Seminar featuring Michael L. Strauss, AG, is open.
All in a Day’s Work: Occupational Genealogical Research:
What did our ancestors do for a living? Many of our ancestors changed their vocations regularly in order to support their families. Tapping into records of employment will offer new ways to approach your family history. Old occupations no longer in use will be discussed as this lecture focuses on the methodology to research your ancestors work history.
The Michigan Genealogical Council and our co-sponsors, the Archives of Michigan, and the Library of Michigan.
When: Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Where: Michigan Library and Historical Center or virtually via Zoom Events.
Visit https://mimgc.org/ for more details.
