Whether they’re a surrogate or intended parent, your support can make a big difference. Here’s how to truly show up:

💬 Listen Without Judgment – Every journey is unique. Sometimes, just being a safe space is everything.
📖 Educate Yourself – Learn the basics of surrogacy so you can understand and empathize better.
👐 Offer Practical Help – Meals, rides to appointments, childcare… small gestures mean a lot.
🌸 Respect Their Boundaries – Follow their lead on what they’re comfortable sharing or discussing.

Let them know they’re not alone. Your presence matters more than you know 🙏💛

Surrogacy doesn’t mean stepping back—it means showing up in a different way. 💛

Even though the intended parents aren’t carrying the baby themselves, there are so many meaningful ways they can stay involved throughout the journey:

👂 Attend medical appointments (when possible)
💬 Communicate regularly with their surrogate
📸 Share milestone moments like ultrasounds or bump updates
🤝 Provide emotional support during both the highs and lows

Being present—emotionally, mentally, and respectfully—strengthens the connection and makes the journey even more beautiful for everyone involved
