Oh no! Did we all accidentally wear the same thing again?!? How embarrassing!
Great minds do think alike, however we planned this one! Excited to support "wear blue day" in honor of child abuse prevention.

Children cannot protect themselves, and we are called as adults to ensure their safety and well being. This is one area where we should never "mind your own business." Protecting children is everyone's business. See something, say something. And if you are someone or know someone who is struggling with parenting or frustration management, please know that there is judgment free help out there to help you feel better and be your best self, for you and for your kids.

Here at CVMW, we are getting ready for child abuse prevention month in April! As we provide treatment services for many children and vulnerable adults who have experienced abuse and neglect, this is an issue we are very passionate about, and we love to support the Allen Child Protection Center. Please join in on these events to support the prevention cause!

💙April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and the Allen Child Protection Center (ACPC) is taking the opportunity to promote awareness and raise funds for the occasion. Across the state child abuse prevention efforts will be recognized on April 10th! The ACPC planned events throughout the month for people to engage in to help make this a happier and safer community for children:

-Pre-order blue donuts from ICON between April 6-9. Thanks to our friends at ICON Donuts & Sweetery in Waterloo/Cedar Falls, we’re raising some dough for the ACPC. If you pre-order blue donuts (a half-dozen or a dozen), a percentage of the proceeds goes to the ACPC. Ordering closes at Noon on April 9. The donuts will be available for pick-up April 10. Call (319) 888-4035. Pick up your donuts on April 10th.

-To order your “Every Child Matters” shirt and support our ACPC use the link below and 40% of your purchase goes to support the Allen Child Protection Center.
